On Friday, Charlotte Christian was beaten by Providence Day 68-28. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Chargers are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Ben Lippen got the win against Providence Athletic Club on Thursday by a conclusive 82-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Charlotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Ben Lippen, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Everything came up roses for Charlotte Christian against Ben Lippen in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, as the team secured a 75-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charlotte Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
