Basketball Recap: Jeff Davis Takes a Loss

Jeff Davis was the 53-39 winner over Berrien when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Jeff Davis Yellowjackets took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berrien Rebels on Saturday. The Yellowjackets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Jeff Davis' record is now 6-9. As for Berrien, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 2-16 record.

Jeff Davis will head out on the road to take on Fitzgerald at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berrien, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 31-23 win against Jefferson County on the 18th.
