Alexander Mercurius made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

Silverado has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Durango, their win bumped their record up to 26-6.
