Baseball Recap: Bellwood-Antis' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Bellwood-Antis came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Clearfield Bison by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Chase Plummer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Matt Berkowitz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bellwood-Antis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bellwood-Antis' record is now 5-8. As for Clearfield, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7.
