Football Recap: Severance Comes Up Short

Severance had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it four. They fell 14-3 to the Windsor Wizards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Silver Knights of the 21-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Miles Gazdik threw for 92 yards on seven of 13 attempts. Brody Ridenour was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.

As for Windsor, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.5 points on average this season.

Mason Moore produced another solid performance rushing for 134 yards and one score on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Severance wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 32-0 victory against Evergreen on the 26th. As for Windsor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 26-14 win against Roosevelt on the 26th.
