After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Larue County, North Bullitt was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Shelby County Rockets with a sharp 13-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the game before.

Amree Hammons and Kylie McRoberts made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Hammons struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, McRoberts pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hammons has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Hammons went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one double, while McRoberts went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Hammons has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Gabby Coy was excellent, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base was her first of the season.
