Basketball Recap: White Sulphur Springs Takes a Loss

White Sulphur Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Manhattan Christian Eagles, falling 69-30. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Eagles are ranked 20th).

White Sulphur Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Manhattan Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

White Sulphur Springs has already played their next match (against Shields Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Manhattan Christian will square off against Gardiner at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
