Baseball Recap: Ryan Comes Up Short

Ryan easily dispatched Lewisville last Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Ryan fell just short of the Richland Royals by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Richland, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 8-9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Richland beat Ryan by a score of 4-2 later that day.
