Basketball Game Preview: Lake City Trojans vs. Northern Michigan Christian Comets

Lake City is on a five-game streak of home losses, Northern Michigan Christian an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Lake City Trojans will welcome the Northern Michigan Christian Comets at 7:00 p.m. Northern Michigan Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake City, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Lake City didn't have too much trouble with Roscommon as they won 53-34.

Meanwhile, Northern Michigan Christian lost 80-57 to Evart on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Comets still had to take the loss.

Lake City's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Northern Michigan Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Lake City was able to grind out a solid win over Northern Michigan Christian in their previous meeting back in January, winning 61-50. Does Lake City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northern Michigan Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
