Basketball Game Preview: Crosstown Explorers vs. Fayette Academy Vikings

Having just played yesterday, the Crosstown Explorers will jump right back in to play the Fayette Academy Vikings at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Crosstown has given up an average of 64 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Crosstown is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They fell 62-55 to Soulsville.

Meanwhile, Fayette Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 56-36 to Hardin County. The Vikings were down 51-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Crosstown will have to keep a close watch on Kahne Dozier and Harris Armour, a pair of players who had a big impact on Fayette Academy's prior game. Dozier posted ten points along with seven boards and four steals, while Armour put up 14 points and five rebounds.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-4. As for Crosstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
