Softball Recap: Fort Wayne Northrop Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Wayne Northrop can now relate to. They fell just short of the Carroll Chargers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bruins' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Fort Wayne Northrop's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Carroll, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-5-1.

Fort Wayne Northrop does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll, they will take on Fort Wayne Snider at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
