Samuel Thompson posted a new career-high in RBI on Tuesday. He scored a run while going 1-for-2, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Thompson's strong effort led East Mecklenburg over Rocky River and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. East Mecklenburg is a perfect 10-0 against Rocky River going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
