Softball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Comes Up Short

Augusta Southeastern came up short against Pittsfield on Tuesday, falling 24-7. The Suns just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Augusta Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pittsfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Augusta Southeastern will venture away from home to take on Quincy Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsfield, they will welcome New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.25 runs per game on average), something Pittsfield will no doubt try to take advantage of.
