Soccer Recap: Breese Central Comes Up Short

Breese Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gibault Catholic Hawks. If Breese Central were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Gibault Catholic when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Breese Central's goal came courtesy of Dj Gallimore, which was the first he's scored this season.

Breese Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gibault Catholic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Breese Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Lebanon on the 2nd. As for Gibault Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Marquette Catholic on the 2nd.
