Basketball Game Preview: Roundup Panthers vs. Sweet Grass County Sheepherders

Roundup hasn't had much luck against Sweet Grass County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Roundup Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Roundup took on Columbus on Saturday. Roundup was outmatched by Columbus and fell 60-21. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sweet Grass County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 53-47 to Shepherd.

Sweet Grass County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Roundup, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Roundup suffered a grim 50-25 defeat to Sweet Grass County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Roundup avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
