Thomas Jefferson's game on September 8th was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Evergreen Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Reese Myers paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up 17 kills. Myers got some help from Ellie Huntsman and her 22 assists. August Neuhart controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Thomas Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Evergreen, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Thomas Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against DMLK on the 30th. As for Evergreen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Pomona on the 2nd.
