Volleyball Recap: Corinth Warriors vs. New Albany Bulldogs
Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the New Albany Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.
While Corinth was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into New Albany's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-11.
Lizzie Moore was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.
Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for New Albany, they pushed their record up to 23-10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
