Baseball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Cannon Falls Bombers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Fighting Saints have suffered since April 15th.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Cannon Falls, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.
