Basketball Recap: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Valley Christian Lions
Lower Lake had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 79-67 to the Valley Christian Lions on Wednesday.
Valley Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Garcia led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Grexton, who went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points plus two steals.
Lower Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-21 win against Potter Valley on the 4th. As for Valley Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-57 victory against Anderson Valley on the 4th.
