Basketball Recap: Hall Falls Short Against Ranked Alexander

Hall is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Alexander. The Warriors received a blow as they fell 78-64 to the Cougars. The Warriors have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Alexander's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Crawford, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gregory Dunson, who scored 13 points and five assists.

Hall's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Alexander, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Hall will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mills University Studies at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Alexander, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Atascocita at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
