Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abilene). Everything went their way against the Marysville Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-8 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Abilene's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Marysville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abilene will head out to take on Herington on Thursday. The Railroaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.67 runs per game on average), something the Cowboys will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Marysville, they will venture away from home to square off against Rock Creek on Thursday.
