Preview: Creekview Mustangs vs. Lone Star Rangers
Creekview is 1-6 against Lone Star since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Creekview Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lone Star Rangers at 7:15 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Creekview has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Lone Star will arrive with 12 straight victories.
Creekview suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 77-53 walloping at the hands of Reedy.
Meanwhile, Lone Star put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Turner on the road to the tune of 74-21. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.
Creekview's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-11. As for Lone Star, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.
Creekview took a serious blow against Lone Star when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 89-45. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Creekview was down 44-18.
