Jaylin Macias Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Marshall's Jaylin Macias, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Macias threw for 297 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 36 yards.

Marshall pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Macias and Marshall will head out to take on Dorsey at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Amalie Moreno Leads Franklin over Lincoln

On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Amalie Moreno playing the best football she has all season. Moreno rushed for 116 yards on only five carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Franklin, bringing their record for this year to 11-3. Moreno and Franklin will take on Wilson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
