Baseball Recap: Harriman Comes Up Short

Harriman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the Roane County Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in March.

Jacob Hawn made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. He has become a key player for Harriman: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-13 otherwise.

Harriman's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Roane County, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4.

As of now, neither Harriman nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
