Durango dropped down to 4-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Buchanan Bears by a score of 2-1. The Trailblazers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

As for Buchanan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since November 16, 2024.

Buchanan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Penny Garcia, who had nine assists and two aces. Those nine assists gave Garcia a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Durango will face off against Shadow Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buchanan, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Foothill on the 16th.
