St. Mary's-Colgan is 9-1 against Galena since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers will challenge the Galena Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. St. Mary's-Colgan will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, St. Mary's-Colgan strolled past Riverton with points to spare, taking the game 47-29. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Rams are ranked 148th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Galena played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Frontenac 57-29.

St. Mary's-Colgan's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Galena, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything came up roses for St. Mary's-Colgan against Galena in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Mary's-Colgan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
