Basketball Recap: Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Spartans lost to the Monclova Christian Academy Thunder on the road by a 85-67 margin. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest Ohio Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monclova Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Northwest Ohio Classical Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bowling Green Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025. Monclova Christian Academy and Put-in-Bay will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Monclova Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Put-in-Bay likes a good challenge.
