            Basketball Recap: Olathe Pirates vs. North Fork Miners        
        
		
        
        
            Olathe lost against North Fork back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Olathe Pirates fell  66-56 to the North Fork Miners.
 When it comes to explaining why Olathe lost, don't look at  Isaiah Gordon. Despite the final result, he  posted 33 points and eight  steals. That was a full 58.9% of Olathe's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's   had  more than a third of the team's points.  Jorge Lopez also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  block of the season.
 North Fork got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Moss Inman out in front who  shot 4-for-6  from beyond the arc and  dropped  a double-double on 26  points and 11  boards. The  matchup was  Inman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  John Hart, who  went 6 of 10  en route to 14 points and seven  rebounds.
Olathe has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record  this season. As for North Fork, their  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-7.
 Olathe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  75-52  loss against Grand Valley on the 25th. As for North Fork, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  57-32  win against Gunnison on the 25th.
