Basketball Recap: White Academy Takes a Loss

White Academy lost against Grace Christian Academy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The White Academy Knights were dealt a 74-14 loss at the hands of the Grace Christian Academy Rams. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Rams are ranked 58th).

Adriawna Hudson was White Academy's leading scorer, having posted six points. Hailey Daniels held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

White Academy's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Academy will take on Concord Christian on Thursday. Concord Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something White Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grace Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Berean Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
