Darlington came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Iowa-Grant Panthers 3-0. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Lilly Ritchie paced Darlington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ritchie really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Iowa-Grant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.

Darlington will face off against Wisconsin Heights at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Iowa-Grant, they will challenge Kickapoo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
