Football Game Preview: The Covenant School Eagles vs. Blue Ridge Barons + How To Watch

The Covenant School is 0-3 against Blue Ridge since October of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Barons at 2:00 p.m. Neither The Covenant School nor Blue Ridge posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

The Covenant School's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against St. Anne's-Belfield two weeks ago. They were beaten by the Saints 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Saints are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-3, which was the final score in Blue Ridge's tilt against Kiski School on Saturday.

Blue Ridge now has a losing record of 4-5. As for The Covenant School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

The Covenant School took a serious blow against Blue Ridge when the teams last played back in September of 2017, falling 42-14. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
