Football Recap: Old Forge Drops Highest Score of Season Against Western Wayne

Old Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 21-14 to the Western Wayne Wildcats. On the bright side, the 14- point effort marked the Blue Devils' highest-scoring contest to date.

Old Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Western Wayne, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Old Forge will head out on the road to square off against Lackawanna Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Western Wayne, they will face off against Honesdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
