Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cherry). Everything went their way against the Two Harbors Agates on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Cherry's third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Two Harbors, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherry will take on Ely at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Two Harbors, they will challenge Mesabi East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
