It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Oak Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They managed a 77-73 victory over the Peru Tigers. The Golden Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Jace Tonagel, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 39 points in addition to six boards and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Owen Middlesworth was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Despite the loss, Peru still got an impressive performance from Zion See, who went 10 of 13 on his way to 32 points and seven rebounds. See continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Turner, who made all 6 shots he took to post 17 points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Oak Hill and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Peru, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Oak Hill will head out to face off against Southwood at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for Peru, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Maconaquah at 7:45 p.m.
