Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Trinity Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 45-27 to Grayson Christian. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-22 on January 14th.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian Academy lost, don't look at Cenzie Pyeatt. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points and three steals. Pyeatt is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Carmen Nesbit, who had four points.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Grayson Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

As for Grayson Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mercy Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Grayson Christian is facing Mercy Prep Academy at the right time seeing as Mercy Prep Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
