Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Lansing Christian rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Pilgrims sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lansing Christian took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.

Lansing Christian can attribute much of their success to Ella Pier, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Pier has posted since back in September.

The victory got Lansing Christian back to even at 13-13. As for Vandercook Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-23.

Coming up, Lansing Christian will face off against Morrice at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vandercook Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
