Soccer Recap: Brownsboro Takes a Loss

Brownsboro lost against Chapel Hill back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brownsboro Bears lost 6-2 to the Chapel Hill Bulldogs. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Paige Whiddon wasn't going to let Chapel Hill walk away unscathed as she scored both of Brownsboro's goals, bringing her season total up to 43 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Brownsboro and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Brownsboro will venture away from home to square off against Van at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Brownsboro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season. As for Chapel Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.7 goals per game.
