Softball Recap: Leeton Comes Up Short

Leeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Adrian Blackhawks.

Leeton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Adrian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leeton will square off against Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 14.2 runs per game this season. As for Adrian, they will face off against Prairie View at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
