Basketball Recap: Coral Park's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After losing to Mourning the last time they met, Coral Park decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Coral Park Rams came out on top against the Mourning Sharks by a score of 49-36 on Tuesday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Sharks are ranked 621st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coral Park's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Mourning, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coral Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mourning, they will venture away from home to take on North Miami at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
