Basketball Recap: Hillsboro Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Hillsboro had won three straight home games and Nathan Matoush did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Hillsboro Hiltoppers walked away with a 55-42 victory over the North Mac Panthers thanks in part to Matoush, who posted 21 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hillsboro's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Greenwood, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points gave him a new career-high.

Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for North Mac, their loss dropped their record down to 10-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will welcome Pana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro is facing Pana at the right time seeing as Pana is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Mac, they will challenge Gillespie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
