Recap: Two Rivers Warriors vs. Hastings Raiders

If the Two Rivers Warriors were feeling good off their 57-23 takedown of the North Polars last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Two Rivers fell 63-53 to Hastings on Thursday. Two Rivers has not had much luck with Hastings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Two Rivers' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landis Williamson-andrews, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Elayna Vannett, who scored 18 points.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Hastings, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Two Rivers will take on Mahtomedi at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hastings, they will head out on the road to face off against South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South St. Paul will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hastings surely won't give up without a fight.
