Softball Recap: Port Huron Red Hawks vs. Clawson Trojans

Port Huron couldn't beat Clawson on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Red Hawks fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Riley Thompson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Port Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Clawson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
