Basketball Game Preview: Munford Cougars vs. Greeneville Greene Devils

The Munford Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Greeneville Greene Devils at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Munford comes in on 11 and Greeneville on 12.

Last Monday, it was close, but Munford sidestepped Dyersburg for a 65-63 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted against the Trojans since December 8, 2015.

JaDyn Lee was his usual excellent self, going 12-for-21 on his way to 31 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds. He is becoming a predictor of Munford's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 20-7 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Elisha Patrick was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, Greeneville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Carter on Monday, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win.

Greeneville pushed their record up to 24-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23 points. As for Munford, their win bumped their record up to 21-10.
