After flying high against Hempstead last Tuesday, Liberty came back down to earth. The Liberty Lightning were dealt a 96-58 defeat at the hands of the Linn-Mar Lions on Friday. The Lightning have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brady Randall, who posted 12 points and five boards. Collin Decker was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.
