Basketball Recap: Don Bosco Comes Up Short

Don Bosco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-28 defeat at the hands of the Riceville Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Dons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Wildcats are ranked 59th).

Don Bosco's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Riceville, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Don Bosco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-31 win against Collins-Maxwell on the 8th. As for Riceville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 60-42 victory against BCLUW on the 8th.
