Basketball Game Preview: Plum Mustangs vs. Bethel Park Black Hawks

The Plum Mustangs will head out to take on the Bethel Park Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Plum comes in on six and Bethel Park on three.

Plum will bounce into Friday's match after beating Highlands, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Plum came out on top against Highlands by a score of 48-41 on Friday. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Bethel Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Hampton on Saturday, taking the game 57-44. That looming 57-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Black Hawks yet this season.

Plum pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Bethel Park, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.
