Basketball Recap: Rock Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Austin Mcbride and Jonathan Park

Rock Academy lost against Escondido back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Cougars, falling 56-36. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rock Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Jonathan Park and Austin McBride. Park shot 47% from the field en route to 16 points and three steals, while McBride posted eight points and nine boards.

Rock Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rock Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Borrego Springs at 8:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Escondido, they will head out to square off against Kearny at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
