Softball Recap: Copper Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against Herriman last Tuesday, Copper Hills came back down to earth. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Farmington Phoenix by a score of 11-10 on Tuesday.

Dannaca Moss was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sadie Stringam, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Copper Hills dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Farmington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Copper Hills nor the Phoenix have any future games scheduled.
