Football Recap: Alpharetta Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Alpharetta had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Kell Longhorns 37-0 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Kell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Moonie Gipson led the charge by rushing for 121 yards and a pair of TDs. Kaleb Narcisse was another key passer, throwing for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

Kell has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Alpharetta will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kell, they will head out to square off against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
