Volleyball Recap: Monument Valley Cougars vs. Montezuma-Cortez Panthers
If Monument Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pinnacle on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cougars haven't been shut out since back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.
Dakotah Cly paced Monument Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Cly got some help from Ayainna Cly and her 12 assists. Dakotah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
